Production Description

Reaching Alice begins five years after a tragic event which has left best friends, Alice and Hannah, no longer on speaking terms. Alice blames Hannah for what happened so when Hannah returns to their hometown, seeking a meeting with Alice and looking for forgiveness, Alice’s life is turned upside down again.

“Reaching Alice came out of a short play I wrote which explored whether forgiveness is possible under certain circumstances. From one key scene grew the story of best friends Alice and Hannah and the play jumps about in time to explore what happened to their friendship.”

Kyra Williams is an actress who began writing short plays in 2018. Several of her short plays have been chosen for new writing events and she has also written a radio play. Reaching Alice is the first of two full-length plays.
