Production Description

An original, musical adaptation of Carlo Collodi’s classic tale, featuring songs based on famous operatic arias and balletic dance routines, shadow screen effects and audience participation. The show was originally staged Upstairs at the Sydenham Centre in the autumn of 2019.

This was the 10th family show by Spontaneous Productions at Sydenham Centre and its most successful to date. Audiences described it as ‘fantastic’, ‘awesome’, ‘another stunner’, ‘amazing’ and ‘so much fun and so funny and inclusive’.
