Madame Ovary is the third in a body-based trilogy following the Heart (4Chambers) and The Brain Piece. In this work, Oberfelder, referencing Flaubert’s Madame Bovary, and gender, takes own the reproductive organs and asks “Are we defined by our bodies or not?”
