Production Description

Part of Ukraine Fringe 2024

A woman whose birth is intrinsically linked to death, and the conception of the first work of science fiction that makes her immortal. The act of creation, loneliness and the search for identity and belonging are the themes of Creature, An Autopsy, a solo performance by Bruna Longo, friction between the novel Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus and the life of its author Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin (Shelley).

In its five-year career, the show was twice awarded the Zé Renato Fomento Award for Theater in the City of São Paulo (editions 11 and 16), participated in festivals in Angola, Cape Verde and Turkey, and was nominated for the Aplauso Award Brasil 2019 in the Best Actress category.
