‘The Tell-Tale Heart’ is a short story by Edgar Allan Poe, first published in 1843. It follows an unnamed narrator who insists on his sanity after murdering an old man with a “vulture eye”.
Filmed in one take on a mobile phone, we used Poe’s original text, created home-made props and special effects and streamed this one-man production completely live from a living room while in lock-down.
