Production Description

Summary: The wise Cockerel gets lost and encounters the cunning Fox. He takes flight and perches on top of a wall. The Fox makes up a story to entice the Cockerel to come down, about wild animals gathering together peacefully, but the Cockerel thinks quickly and bluffs that he sees a dog approaching. The Fox is scared and leaves. The Cockerel arrives home safely.

The aims of the play are to provide access for children aged 5+, teach the BSL signs of animals, create a visual image of the animals and show the journey of the story.

The Cockerel and the Fox is currently at a stage of research and develop with the aim of being to perform at small theatres, alongside, visiting schools and providing workshops.

With British sign language, English subtitles/captions and Voiceover.
