It’s Shakespeare’s Henry V as you’ve never seen it before! Here is our Built by Barn production of Shakespeare’s Henry V, directed by Hal Chambers and starring West End stars Aaron Sidwell (Wicked, American Idiot, EastEnders) and Lauren Samuels (Bend It Like Beckham, We Will Rock You, BBC’s Over The Rainbow).
This timeless Shakespeare tale is cleverly brought up to date and explores the conflict between tradition and modernity in Britain through the lens of a nation at war.
Henry IV is dead and Hal is King. With England in a state of unrest, he must leave his rebellious youth behind, striving to gain the respect of his nobility and people.
This performance was released to celebrate World Theatre Day 2020.
