Production Description

Inconsistency presents a woman’s experiences in a world that is not clear to her. A world where she struggles to find her place and sense of belonging. She steps into the familiar private space she has created for herself as a protection from the sense of inadequacy she experiences outside.

Here she is present in full isolation: her writing, her soul seeking healing and her conduct in the world are expressed through three women, a kind of separate personality sections that intertwine with each other: a writing woman, a treated woman and a working woman, joining the choir. The split and multiplicity of voices hold her here and she is now trying to listen and observe in order to go out and act again in the world, perhaps.

The show came up as a graduation project for an MFA degree in the actor-researcher-creative track in the Department of Theater Arts, Tel Aviv University.

אי התאמה מציגה חוויות של אישה בעולם שאינו נהיר לה. עולם שבו היא נאבקת למצוא את מקומה ואת תחושת השייכות. היא פוסעת לחלל הפרטי והמוכר שיצרה לעצמה כהגנה מתחושת אי ההתאמה שהיא חווה בחוץ. כאן היא נוכחת במלוא הדרה: הכתיבה שלה, נפשה המחפשת מרפא והתנהלותה בעולם מקבלות ביטוי דרך שלוש נשים, מעין מדורי אישיות נפרדים המשתרגים זה בזה: אישה כותבת, אישה מטופלת ואישה פועלת, המצטרפות לדמותה של המקהלה. הפיצול וריבוי הקולות מחזיקים אותה כאן והיא מנסה עתה להקשיב ולהתבונן כדי לצאת לפעול שוב בעולם, אולי.
המופע עלה כפרויקט סיום לתואר MFA במסלול שחקן-חוקר-יוצר בחוג לאמנות התאטרון, אוניברסיטת תל-אביב.
